The Last Ubinan for Subround II 2024

The Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Metro, in collaboration with the Coordinators from the Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries Department, successfully conducted the final ubinan for Subround II of 2024. This activity was carried out across six sample plots located in two kelurahan: five plots in Kelurahan Sumbersari, Metro Selatan District, and one plot in Kelurahan Yosomulyo, Metro Pusat District.

Ubinan is a method used to measure harvest yield, providing an accurate estimate of rice production. During this activity, the team gathered data that will serve as the basis for calculating rice production in Kota Metro.

The ubinan results revealed variations in the weight of harvested dry grain (GKP) across the sample plots. The lowest GKP weight recorded was 1.15 kg, while the highest reached 4.75 kg. This data will be further analyzed to determine land productivity and aid in future agricultural planning.

The strong collaboration between BPS Kota Metro and the Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries Department in conducting this ubinan exemplifies effective synergy in producing high-quality statistical data.

With the completion of the Subround II ubinan, the survey results are expected to provide an accurate picture of the agricultural conditions in Kota Metro.
