Young Expert Statistician of BPS Metro City, Noverlina Putri Permatasari participated in the National Instructor Training for the 2025 National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) which was attended by more than 800 participants from all BPS Provinces and Regencies / Cities. The training organized by the BPS Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) took place online in two stages, namely Independent Learning which was held on 26-29 November and continued with Distance Learning on 3-5 December 2024. The purpose of this training is so that instructors have a uniform understanding and concept in delivering material to field officers during officer training.
SUSENAS is a routine survey conducted by BPS to collect data on various aspects of community life, such as income, expenditure, health conditions, education, and employment. SUSENAS data is very important as a basis for formulating development policies in various fields.
Through this training, instructors are expected to have an in-depth understanding of materials related to SUSENAS 2025, ranging from survey design, data collection instruments, to effective interview techniques. In addition, this training is also a place to share knowledge and experience among fellow instructors.
This training is very important to ensure the quality of SUSENAS 2025 data. With competent instructors, we can obtain accurate and relevant data to support national development.
The implementation of online training was chosen as an effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness, as well as to expand the reach of participants. Although conducted virtually, BPS still strives to create an interactive and fun learning atmosphere through various features provided in the online learning platform.
With the implementation of this training, it is expected that the instructors can perform their duties well so that SUSENAS 2025 data can be collected in quality and on time.
