Training for SHK 2025 and SHPB Pakom 2023 = 100 Officers

Metro, January 7, 2025 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Metro City held a training session for the officers of the Consumer Price Survey (SHK) 2025 and the Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) with a base year of pakom 2023 = 100. The event took place on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 08:30 AM until completion in the meeting room of BPS Kota Metro.

 

The purpose of this training is to enhance the understanding and skills of the officers in conducting surveys that will take place throughout 2025. This survey plays a crucial role in monitoring the dynamics of consumer prices and wholesale trade as strategic economic indicators, particularly for inflation calculations and economic analysis in Metro City.

 

The training materials included data collection methods, price recording guidelines, and effective interviewing techniques. The officers were also provided with field simulations to understand various scenarios they might encounter while on duty. The trainers for this event were a technical team from BPS Kota Metro with experience in conducting price surveys.

 

The Consumer Price Survey (SHK) 2025 and the Wholesale Price Survey (SHPB) with a base year of pakom 2023 = 100 are part of the national program of BPS aimed at providing relevant and high-quality price statistical data. This data will later be used to support economic policy-making and development at both the regional and national levels.

 

The training concluded with a question-and-answer session and discussion, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share experiences related to previous surveys. It is hoped that through this training, the officers can perform their duties optimally and make a significant contribution to providing accurate and reliable statistical data.
