Lampung, January 17, 2025 – The Sectoral Statistics Coaching Team from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kota Metro participated in the Internalization of Sectoral Statistics Coaching organized by the Lampung Provincial BPS online. The event lasts for four days, starting from January 17 to January 22, 2025. It was officially opened by the Acting Head of the Lampung Provincial BPS, Mr. Agung Erianto Juliandono.
In
his speech, Mr. Agung Erianto Juliandono emphasized the importance of
collaboration between BPS and sectoral agencies to improve the quality of
statistical data. “Through this activity, we strengthen synergy to ensure that
the data produced meets the principles of official statistics and can be used
as a basis for making appropriate policy decisions,” he stated.
This
internalization activity was attended by representatives from district/city BPS
across Lampung Province. The main objective of this event is to provide a
deeper understanding of the standards and guidelines in managing sectoral
statistics, while also building better coordination among agencies.
The
Sectoral Statistics Coaching Team from BPS Kota Metro, which also participated
in this activity, is committed to applying the results of the coaching to
support the development of reliable and quality sectoral statistics in Kota
Metro. With this coaching, it is hoped that the processes of collecting,
processing, and presenting sectoral statistical data can be carried out more
effectively and efficiently.
