Training for SUSENAS and SERUTI Enumerator I

The Training for National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) and Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI) Officers Wave I was successfully held in Bandar Lampung at 08:00 WIB. This event was organized in-person by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with the aim of improving the quality of data collection for accurate and standardized surveys.

 

The training was officially opened by the Head of the General Subdivision of BPS Metro Municipality. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of surveys as a primary source of information to support government planning and policy-making.

 

The quality of survey data heavily depends on the performance of field officers. Therefore, this training is expected to provide a high level of technical understanding and work ethics for the survey officers," stated the Head of the General Subdivision of BPS Metro Municipality.

 

This training involved participants who are field officers from Metro Municipality. The materials covered included interview techniques, questionnaire completion, and an in-depth understanding of the indicators measured in SUSENAS and SERUTI.

 

Additionally, participants were given field simulations to practice effective data collection techniques. With this training, it is hoped that the survey results can provide an accurate picture of the socio-economic conditions of the community at both local and national levels. Participants are expected to maximize the knowledge gained for the implementation of surveys in the field.
