BPS Metro Municipality Holds Tarhib Ramadhan, Welcoming the Holy Month with Islamic Study

Metro – The Statistics of Metro Municipality organized a Tarhib Ramadhan event to welcome the holy month with enthusiasm and preparation. Held in the BPS Metro Municipality Hall, the event was attended by all staff members and invited guests, creating a solemn yet lively atmosphere.

 

The event began with an opening speech by Ms. Arum Purbowati, Head of Statistics of Metro Municipality, who emphasized the importance of preparing for Ramadhan with sincerity and devotion. She highlighted that Ramadhan is a time to strengthen faith and foster togetherness, both in the workplace and in daily life.

 

Following the speech, an Islamic study session was delivered by Ustadz Syahid Abdulah, Lc., M.E. He discussed key worship practices during Ramadhan, including performing a mindful fast, engaging in extra prayers, reciting the Qur’an, giving to charity, and maintaining strong social ties. Ustadz Syahid also stressed the importance of having a pure intention in worship to attain blessings throughout the holy month.

 

The event concluded with a collective prayer, led by Ustadz Syahid Abdulah, where participants sincerely prayed for blessings and ease in carrying out their religious duties in the upcoming Ramadhan.

 

With this Tarhib Ramadhan event, the staff of Statistics of Metro Municipality are expected to be more prepared and motivated to fill the holy month with meaningful worship and good deeds. May this Ramadhan bring blessings to all.
