Metro, 17 April 2025 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Metro Municipality has carried out the 2025 Subround I Rice Tiles Survey which will take place from January to April. This activity aims to estimate rice productivity in the Metro Municipality area using the Area Sample Frame (KSA) method.
The survey process begins with determining the point of the rice field plot that will be tiled using the FASIH application. Next, the land was measured using footsteps to determine the tile point measuring 2.5 x 2.5 meters. The rice in the plot is then harvested, threshed and weighed to obtain production data. The measurement results are directly input and uploaded via the application to ensure accuracy and speed of data collection.
Of the three tiling plots carried out in Kec. Metro South, Metro East and Metro North, obtained the following results:
• Mentik variety: 4.29 kg
• Inpari32 variety: 5.22 kg
• Inpari32 variety: 5.05 kg
This activity was attended by the Intermediate Expert Statistics Statistics of Metro Municipality, Yosep, and the Head of the Production Statistics Team Statistics of Metro Municipality Hendarwanto and other functional staff.
This tile survey is part of BPS's efforts to provide accurate and reliable food crop productivity data. The data obtained will be used as a basis for planning and evaluating agricultural development programs in Metro Municipality.
