BPS Metro Supports the Utilization of DTSEN Through Collaboration with Social Services

The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs is encouraging the use of National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN) as the main basis for implementing social programs in Indonesia, including Metro Municipality.

Through the "It's Time to Move On to DTSEN" campaign, DTSEN was introduced as a more accurate, integrated and sustainable data system to support the distribution of social assistance to be more targeted.

Statistics of Metro Municipality plays a role in supporting this effort through collaboration with the Social Service Metro Municipality. One form of collaboration is harmonizing socio-economic data so that the community profiling process can be carried out more precisely and efficiently.

DTSEN provides various strategic benefits, such as:

• Become one cross-sector data

• Helps ensure accuracy in the distribution of social assistance

• Make it easier to map the socio-economic conditions of the community

• Increase the effectiveness of poverty reduction

• Becomes the main basis for providing assistance

• Support budget efficiency

• Becomes the basis for planning welfare programs

The transformation towards DTSEN is not just a replacement of data systems, but a real step towards modern and collaborative socio-economic governance.
