What was the condition of our agriculture last year? Come on, take a peek at the Metro Municipality rice production data for 2024!

Peak harvest occurred in February with total production reaching 13,651 tons of GKG – the highest throughout the year!

Meanwhile, several months such as January, May, October, November and December recorded zero production, i.e. no harvest at all. ‍️

Full data:

• February: 13,651 tonnes

• March: 4,290 tons

• April: 104 tons

• June: 1,904 tons

• July: 5,111 tons

• August: 3,405 tons

• September: 938 tons

• The remainder: 0 tons

Interesting fact: Even though there was a drastic decline in April and May, production rose again in the middle of the year. This is an important illustration for future planting strategies!
