Discussion with the Deputy Mayor of Metro Regarding the Kelurahan Cantik in Iringmulyo 2025

On Thursday, August 7, 2025, the Head of BPS Kota Metro held an audience and discussion with the Deputy Mayor of Metro. The meeting discussed the progress of the Kelurahan Cinta Statistik (Cantik) program that has been implemented in Iringmulyo Village, as well as efforts to build strong collaboration between BPS and the Metro City Government in strengthening statistical data at the village level.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS conveyed the plan to hold the Expose on the Results of the Cantik Village Program Guidance 2025, which will involve various stakeholders, such as OPD leaders, universities, sub-district heads (camat) and village heads (lurah), as well as the mass media. The Head of BPS also requested the Deputy Mayor’s availability to attend and provide direct support for the event as a form of the City Government’s commitment to enhancing literacy and the use of data at the local level.

In addition, the Head of BPS Kota Metro also sought the Deputy Mayor’s support for the successful implementation of the 2025 Economic Census, which will be an important national agenda for updating economic data. Support was also requested for the In-depth Study on Poverty in Metro City, so that the study results could serve as a strategic reference for poverty alleviation in the region.

The Deputy Mayor of Metro welcomed the planned activities and expressed full support for the Cantik Village program, the implementation of the 2025 Economic Census, and the In-depth Study on Poverty in Metro City. He also expressed the City Government’s readiness to facilitate the Expose event, which is planned to be held on August 19, 2025, in the OR Room of the Metro City Government Office.
