Abstract

Based on the calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in August 2015, Metro City deflation caused by the decrease in the index of foodstuff by 1.80 percent; clothing deflation of 0.13 percent; and transportation, communication and financial services are experiencing a deflation of 0.02; percent. While the group that put a halt deflation and inflation are food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco, which rose by 0.27 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel which increased the index by 0.09 percent; health groups with an inflation of 0.62 percent; as well as education, recreation and sports were up 1.26 percent.
