In June 2016, entered the 6th month in 2016 which coincided with the month of Ramadan, Metro City experienced inflation. Furthermore a subsequent expenditure is the cause of inflation is food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco contributed to inflation by 0.1409 percent; clothing with a 0.1274 percent share of inflation; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel contributed to inflation by 0.0979 percent and the group of health and education, recreation and sports with inflation contributed each by 0.0096 percent and 0.0058 percent.
Meanwhile, the group spending curb inflation namely transport, communication and financial services with a share deflation of 0.0031 percent. Index changes on groups such spending causes inflation in Metro City at 0.67 percent.
Commodities that contributed high inflation during the month of June 2016 include sugar, spinach, squid, spinach, red peppers, Muslim clothes, chicken, bricks, rice and live chickens. Based on the calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in June 2016, inflation Metro City caused by increase in the index foodstuff with inflation of 1.04 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco index increased by 0.79 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 0.45 percent.
