January 2017, Lampung Composite CPI index rose from 128.31 at 129.36 in December 2016 into January 2017, thus an inflation of 0.82 percent.
Based on the calculation of the rate of inflation (point to point) in January 2017 amounted to 0.82 percent, and inflation year on year (yoy) in January 2017 amounted to 3.29 percent.
Of the seven expenditure groups, five groups experienced inflation, namely foodstuffs rose 0.51 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose 0.32 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 0.64 percent; health group up 1.69 percent; and transportation, communication and financial services rose 2.76 percent. Instead the two groups experienced deflation, namely clothing were down 0.02 percent and education, recreation and sport fell 0.15 percent.
Monitoring of two cities in Lampung in January 2017, wholly experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation by 0.84 percent and 0.72 percent inflation Metro.
Inflation in Bandar Lampung is ranked 50th and Metro City ranked 59th, from 82 cities observed price changes. Of the 82 cities, all cities CPI inflation. The highest inflation was in London by 1.82 percent, while the lowest inflation was recorded at 0.09 percent Manokwari.
Transport, communications, and financial services contributed the highest inflation rate of 0.42 percent. The subgroup being the largest contributor to inflation is a subgroup means of supporting the transport of 0.28 percent.
