NTP Lampung Province October 2017 for each subsector recorded Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) (109,35), Horticulture (NTP-H) (93,88),; (NTP-P) (116.18), Fishing Fish (111.24), and Aquaculture (95.07). While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 106.62.
October 2017, several commodities experienced price increases, among others in food crops such as grains, corn, and cassava / cassava. Plantation sub-sectors and capture fishery sub-sectors also experienced price increases such as in oil palm, cocoa, rubber and some types of catch fish. Horticulture, livestock, and aquaculture subsector have decreased prices, among others, in cabbage / cabbage, carrots, small livestock, domestic poultry, broiler, catfish, carp, and indigo.
Some subsectors experienced an increase in NTP in October 2017, except for horticulture, livestock, and aquaculture. In detail, food crops sub-sector (2.64 percent), horticultural crops sub-sector (-1.10 percent), subsector of smallholder plantation (0.12 percent), livestock sub-sector (-0.21 percent), catch fishery sub- 1.15 percent), and aquaculture subsector (-0.26 percent). NTP Lampung Province jointly increased by 0.61 percent.
Of the 33 provinces observed in October 2017, the highest increase in NTP occurred in Jambi Province with an increase of 1.52 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung Province which decreased by 2.12 percent.
October 2017 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 0.12 percent. Inflation was caused by a rise in the foodstuff price index by 0.19 percent, food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.15 percent, clothing by 0.12 percent and health by 0.33 percent. Meanwhile, some groups of the price index decreased.
