NTP Lampung Province December 2017 for each subsector recorded Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) (112.38), Horticulture (NTP-H) (95,10); (NTP-Pr) (104.68), Livestock (NTP-Pt) (115.12), Capture Fisheries (110.62), and Aquaculture (94.68). While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 107.35.
December 2017, several commodities experienced a decrease in prices, among others in plantation sub-sector commodities, livestock sub-sector, and catching fishery sub-sector such as coconut, cocoa, cattle and some types of catch fish. While the subsector of food crops, horticulture, and aquaculture have increased prices, among others, on grain, cassava, red pepper, and some types of fish cultivation.
Some of the sub-sectors experienced a decrease in NTP by December 2017, except for food crops, horticulture, and aquaculture. In detail, food crops sub-sector (1.02 percent), horticulture subsector (0.76 percent), smallholder plantation sub-sector (-0.12 percent), livestock sub-sector (-0.65 percent), catch fishery sub- -0.33 percent), and aquaculture subsector (0.12 percent). NTP Lampung Province jointly increased by 0.23 percent.
Of the 33 provinces observed in December 2017, the highest increase in NTP occurred in West Kalimantan Province with an increase of 0.99 percent, while the largest decline in NTP occurred in Gorontalo Province, which fell by 1.05 percent.
December 2017 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 1.06 percent caused by the increase of food price index index by 2.10 percent, food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.76 percent, housing category by 0 , 04 percent, health group by 0,27 percent, and transportation and communication group by 0,15 percent. Meanwhile, some groups of the price index decreased.
