Lampung Province's economy in Q2 2018 as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp. 84.93 trillion and GDP at constant prices in 2010 reached Rp. 58.98 trillion.
Lampung Province's economy in the second quarter of 2018 grew 5.35 percent compared to the second quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) of 5.03 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business field by 13.12 percent; while Provision of Accommodation and Eating Drinks also grew in the range of 11.85 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure Component which served Households by 21.59 percent.
Lampung Province economy quarter II-2018 experienced a growth of 4.53 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the business of Provision of Accommodation and Drinking Food by 10.86 percent. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was achieved by the Government Consumption Expenditure Component of 15.27 percent.
Lampung Province economy in the first half of 2018 (c-to-c) grew 5.23 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved in the construction and electricity and gas supply business sectors. In terms of expenditure, it is driven by the Non-Profit Institution Consumption Expenditure Component which serves households by 20.45 percent
Spatially, the economic growth of Sumatra Island in quarter II-018 grew by 4.65 percent with the highest growth in South Sumatra Province which grew 6.07 percent and the lowest in Riau Province by 2.38 percent.
