Abstract

February 2019, Bandar Lampung City experienced a deflation of 0.33 percent due to a decline in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 135.47 in January 2019 to 135.02 in February 2019. Of the seven expenditure groups, two groups experienced deflation or a decrease in the index Bandar Lampung City, namely the foodstuffs group experienced a deflation of 2.40 percent and the transport, communication and financial services group 0.11 percent. In contrast, the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group experienced inflation of 1.24 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.05 percent; and the health group 0.43 percent. Meanwhile, education, recreation and sports groups; and the clothing group did not experience changes in the index.
