September 2024 Metro City's Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation amounted to 1.86 percent

Abstract

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase of indexes of all expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 3.86 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.71 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 1.28 percent; health group at 1.39 percent; transportation group group by 1.74 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.65 percent; the education group by 2.46 percent; and the food supply group and beverages/restaurants by 2.06 percent. While groups that experienced decreased in the index, namely: the group of equipment, equipment and routine maintenance of households by 0.50 percent maintenance group by 0.50 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.40 percent; and financial services by 0.40 percent; and personal care and other services by 0.73 percent. by 0.73 percent.
