Gross Regional Domestic Product of Metro Municipality by Expenditure 2013-2017

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one data device economy that can be used to evaluate the performance of economic development an area. This data device can also be used for interests and purposes others, such as the basis for developing economic models in order formulate policy formulation, the level of velocity of money, financial deepening, tax determination, export studies and import and so on.

According to macroeconomic theory, GRDP calculation can be done through three approach, namely: production / supply approach (GRDP according to Field Industry / industry, final expenditure / demand approach (GRDP according to Expenditures and income approach (GRDP according to income / income). These three calculation approaches will theoretically generate the same GRDP figures.

This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the approach final expenditure / request. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditures, Non-Institutional Consumption Expenditures Profit Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventory), Foreign Exports, Imports Overseas, and Net Export Between Regions (exports between regions are reduced by import between regions). GRDP data in this publication and publications then using the 2010 base year, and has applied the System of concept National Accounts 2008 as recommended by United Nations.
