On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Metro Municipality demonstrated its commitment to strengthening data literacy and analytics within government institutions. This commitment was embodied through the active participation of BPS Metro staff as resource speakers in a Data Analytics Sharing Session organized by the State Treasury Office (KPPN) Metro. The session aimed to enhance staff capacity in processing and presenting data related to APBN fund disbursement, monitoring and evaluation reports on regional inflation control, and other financial reports.
During the session, BPS Metro provided an overview of the monthly inflation data presentation conducted by BPS. The materials covered data processing, analysis, and visualization—essential components for evidence-based decision-making. This sharing session not only strengthened the technical skills of KPPN Metro staff in data management and presentation but also encouraged the establishment of a data-driven work culture within government institutions.
This initiative marks the beginning of a synergy between BPS Metro Municipality and KPPN Metro to improve data governance in the public sector. With a deeper understanding of data processing, KPPN Metro staff are expected to integrate analytical outcomes into their daily workflows, supporting the achievement of national development goals.
