Human Development Index (HDI) of Kota Metro

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator used to assess the quality of human development across three primary dimensions: health, education, and standard of living. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) utilizes HDI to evaluate the community's welfare comprehensively.

According to BPS data in 2023, Kota Metro’s HDI was recorded at 78.14, indicating an increase from the previous year. These figures show that Kota Metro continues to improve in health, education, and economic welfare, making it one of the cities with the highest HDI in Lampung Province.
