Pojok Statistik is a collaborative service between BPS and universities that serves as a statistical promotion center on campus. Statistical Corner Agents are students who are tasked with serving at the Statistical Corner and promoting statistical data in the university environment.
The benefits of joining as a Statistical Agent are getting various benefits, such as certificates, free competency training, and recommendations for internships at the local BPS office. This provides added value for student skill development
A program designed for students to play an active role in promoting data literacy and statistics. This program is held by Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro in collaboration with the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Metro City, Lampung. Registration Requirements:
- Registered as an active student in semester 3 or semester 5
- Have good communication skills
- Able to work as a team

The results of the selection of Statistical Corner Agents of Muhammadiyah Metro University led by the Coordinator Mr. Desi Budiono, M.Pd. With the following points:
Selection is carried out Selection is carried out in 2 stages (administration and interview) Administrative selection was carried out on November 25 - 29, 2024 conducted by internal UM Metro Interview selection was held on December 2 - 4, 2024 in collaboration with the UM Metro task force team and BPS Metro CityOf the 40 students selected for stage 1, 24 students passed stage 2 (interview). 24 students who passed stage 2 selection were spread across various study programs: - Guidance and Counseling: 2 students
- Economic Education: 6 students
- Mathematics Education: 8 students
- English Education : 6 students
- Teacher and Primary School Education : 2 students
Students who pass the selection will then take part in debriefing with the BPS team at the Metro City BPS Office on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 08.30 WIB until completion.
With the close collaboration between BPS Metro City and Muhammadiyah Metro University, it is expected that the Statistical Corner Agent can serve at the Statistical Corner and promote statistical data in the university environment.
