METRO CITY BPS ROUTINELY DOES GYMNASTICS EVERY FRIDAY TO MAINTAIN PHYSICAL HEALTH

Metro City - Employees of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Metro City routinely carry out joint gymnastics activities every month. This activity is not just a sporting activity, but also part of the implementation of state defense values aimed at improving physical fitness and strengthening solidarity between employees.

The Head of BPS Metro City, Arum Purbowati, said that this monthly exercise is one way to instill a spirit of togetherness and improve work discipline. “As state servants, physical and mental health is very important so that we can provide maximum service to the community. This activity is also a means of strengthening the spirit of state defense, which is reflected through the spirit of keeping the body healthy and fit,” she said.

Gymnastic activities are usually held in the courtyard of the BPS Metro City office by involving all employees, from the leadership to the staff. Apart from being a form of exercise, this event is also often interspersed with motivational activities and the delivery of information related to BPS work programs.

This monthly gymnastics is also a moment to strengthen the relationship between employees outside the work routine. “With a healthy body, the spirit of state defense can be realized through excellent service, work innovation, and real contribution in regional development,” added Arum Purbowati.

Through this program, BPS Metro City hopes to provide an example to the community of the importance of maintaining health and the spirit of togetherness in the workplace.
