Preparation Meeting for the Launch of the Statistics Corner at Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro

Metro, January 2, 2025 – The Statistics Corner team from Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro (UM Metro) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Metro City held a coordination meeting to finalize preparations for the Launch of the Statistics Corner at UM Metro. The meeting took place on Thursday in the auditorium of the BPS Metro City.

The meeting was led by the Senior Statistician of BPS Metro City, Mr. Yosep, SST., MIDEC. During the meeting, both parties discussed various important aspects, including the event concept, materials to be presented, and other technical preparations.

Mr. Yosep stated that the establishment of the Statistics Corner at Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro would be a significant breakthrough in bringing statistics closer to the academic community. "This Statistics Corner is expected to serve as an educational tool and a means of disseminating relevant statistical data to support research and learning at UM Metro," he said.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to finalize the technical details of the event next week to ensure the smooth execution of the launching event scheduled for January 15, 2025. With a strong synergy between BPS and UM Metro, it is hoped that the Statistics Corner can become a beneficial model of collaboration in the fields of education and statistics.
