Metro, March 24, 2025 – The Social Affairs Office (Dinsos) of Metro Municipality conducted a working visit to Statistics of Metro Municipality (BPS) to discuss the verification process of the National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN). This initiative aims to ensure the accuracy and validity of beneficiary data in Metro Municipality, enhancing the effectiveness of existing social programs.
During
the discussion at the BPS Metro Municipality office, representatives from both
institutions reviewed verification mechanisms and data collection improvements.
The Head of Metro Municipality’s Social Affairs Office, Mr. Sri Amanto, S.H.,
M.H., emphasized the importance of collaboration between Dinsos and BPS to
ensure that social assistance programs are based on accurate and reliable data.
"We
want to ensure that the data used in distributing social assistance is truly
valid and well-targeted. Therefore, the verification process conducted with BPS
is crucial to maintaining accuracy and transparency," he stated.
Following
the discussion, a joint team from Dinsos and BPS Metro Municipality carried out
field visits to several locations in Metro Municipality. These on-site
inspections aimed to cross-check beneficiary data, verify that recorded
information aligns with actual conditions, and gather feedback directly from
the community.
"We
hope that through this initiative, we can provide more accurate data, enabling
the government to formulate more effective social policies," added Mrs. Arum Purbowati, Head of BPS Metro
Municipality.
This
visit is part of Dinsos Metro Municipality’s efforts to enhance social welfare
data accuracy and strengthen its partnership with BPS in implementing effective
assistance programs for those in need. With strong coordination, all social aid
programs are expected to run more efficiently and effectively in the future.
