Condition of Main Drinking Water Source in Metro Municipality Based on 2024 PODES Data

Statistics of Metro Municipality has released the latest data regarding the main drinking water sources used by the community in Metro Municipality Based on the results of the 2024 Village Potential data collection (PODES).

From the data collection results, it was found that only two sub-districts in Central Metro District rely on refillable water and drilled wells/pumps as the main source of drinking water. Meanwhile, the majority of sub-districts in Metro Municipality, 20 sub-districts to be precise, Masi depend on dug wells as the main source of drinking water.

Statistics of Metro Municipality hopes that this data can become a reference for local governments and stakeholders in planning policies that support providing access to better quality drinking water for the community.
