2025 PODES Officer Training Held at Metro Municipality

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Metro Municipality held the first day of training for prospective Village Development Data Update (PODES) 2025 officers. This activity was officially opened by the Head of Statistics of Metro Municipality at 08.30 WIB. A total of seven participants, consisting of PCL and PML officers, took part in the training which aimed to equip them with a comprehensive understanding of the concept, methodology, and technical implementation of PODES 2025.

After the opening session and pre-test, the regional instructor explained the general explanation, field mechanisms, and data update methodology. The training continued with a session on using the FASIH application which is the main tool in data collection.

In the afternoon session, participants were invited to understand filling in Block I to Block X in the village-level PODES questionnaire. All sessions were interactive, with participants actively asking questions and discussing.

The first day of training closed at 15.30 WIB. This activity is expected to be able to improve the competence of officers in producing accurate and quality data as a basis for village development planning.

The training will take place from 21 - 22 May 2025 with practical interview sessions and final evaluation.
