Abstract

Lampung Province in March 2016 for each sub-sector totaled 102.88 for the subsector Rice & Crops (NTP-P), 100.46 for Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H), 98.03 for smallholder crops subsector (NTP-Pr ), 112.25 for the Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt), 103.91 for the fisheries subsector, and 95.48 for the subsector Aquaculture. While NTP Lampung Province totaled 102.73. In March 2016, some commodity prices decline, except in horticultural crops. As for the prices that declined include: rice and secondary crops (corn and beans), rubber and cloves. large livestock (cattle and buffalo), and small livestock (goats), and several types of fish catch and aquaculture. Some subsector decreased NTP in March 2016, except subsector horticultural crops. In detail, subsector of food crops has decreased by 2.03 percent NTP, horticultural crops subsector rose 0.30 percent, smallholder tree crops subsector fell 0.32 percent, the livestock sector fell 0.71 percent, down 1.41 capture fisheries subsector percent, and aquaculture sub-sector was down 0.51 per cent. NTP Lampung Province on a consolidated basis fell by 0.84 percent. Of the 33 provinces, 10 provinces experienced an increase NTP and 23 provinces decreased NTP. NTP highest increase occurred in North Maluku province with an increase of 0.73 percent. Meanwhile, NTP largest decline occurred in Banten province, which fell by 1.72 percent. March 2016 in rural areas of Lampung experienced inflation of 1.34 percent. Inflation is caused by the rise in almost all price index on a price index for processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco, foodstuffs, clothing, health, education, recreation, sports, and transportation and communications, except in group housing experience decline.
