NTP Lampung Province July 2017 for each subsector recorded at 102.58 for Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P), 96.60 for Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H), 100.55 for Smallholder Subsector (NTP-Pr ), 115.86 for Livestock Sub-sector (NTP-Pt), 110.12 for Capture Fishing Subsector, and 94.68 for Aquaculture Sub-sector. While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 103.57.
In July 2017, several commodities experienced price increases, among others in food crops such as grains, peanuts and cassava, and sweet potatoes. In the horticulture sub-sector, and subsector of aquaculture in some commodities also experienced price increases. While in some commodities crops have decreased prices, such as coconut, coffee, cocoa, rubber, and oil palm. In the livestock and capture fishery sector also experienced a decrease in prices.
Some sub-sectors experienced a decrease in NTP in July 2017, except for food crops, horticulture, and aquaculture cultivation. In detail, the food crops sub-sector increased by 0.49 percent, horticultural crops sub-sector increased by 0.07 percent, the subsector of smallholder plantation fell by 1.89 percent, the livestock sub-sector decreased by 0.63 percent, the fisheries sub-sector decreased by 1.52 percent, and the aquaculture subsector rose by 0.30 percent. NTP Lampung Province combined by 0.59 percent decrease.
Of the 33 provinces observed in July 2017, there were 10 provinces experiencing increases in NTP and 23 other provinces decreased. The highest increase of NTP occurred in East Java Province with an increase of 0.89 percent, while the largest decrease of NTP occurred in Southeast Sulawesi Province which decreased by 1.40 percent.
July 2017 in rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 0.51 percent. Inflation is attributed to the rise of the entire price index group: foodstuffs, finished food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco groups, housing groups, clothing, health and education, recreation and sports groups, and transport and communications groups.
