February 2018, CPI Combined Lampung Index increase from 133.86 in January 2018 to 133.97 in February 2018, thus inflation of 0.08 percent.
Based on February 2011 point to point inflation of 1.35 percent and year on year inflation (yoy) in February 2018 was 3.01 percent.
From seven expenditure groups, six groups experienced inflation, ie foodstuff category experienced inflation (up by 0.19 percent); finished food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.02 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.02 percent; clothing group 0.16 percent; health group 0.01 percent; and the 0.07 percent transport, communication and financial services group. Meanwhile, education, recreation and sports groups did not experience any changes in index.
From two monitoring cities in Lampung in February 2018, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation was 0.06 percent, and Metro inflation was 0.19 percent.
Bandar Lampung City Inflation was ranked 50th and Metro City ranked 37th, from 82 cities observed the development price. Out of 82 cities, 55 CPI cities experienced inflation and 27 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Jayapura at 1.05 percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in Palangkaraya by 0.04 percent. Medan's highest deflation was -0.96 percent and Lubuklinggau's lowest deflation was -0.02 percent.
The foodstuff group contributed the highest inflation, at 0,06 percent. The subgroup that became the highest inflation contributor in February 2018 was the subgroup of grains, tubers and the result of 0.10 percent.
