Abstract

NTP Lampung Province March 2018 for each subsector recorded Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) (113,43), Horticulture (NTP-H) (94.01); (NTP-P) (114.85), Fishing Fish (112.40), and Aquaculture (93.59). While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 105.70.

March 2018, several commodities experienced price increases, among others in food crops sub-sector, fishery sub-sector, and catching fishery sub-sector such as cassava, red pepper, and some types of catch fish. While the sub-sector of plantation, livestock, and aquaculture has decreased in price, among others, on pepper, poultry, eggs, and some types of fish cultivation.

In detail the increase or decrease of NTP in March 2018, the food crops sub-sector rose 0.05 percent, the horticultural crops sub-sector increased by 0.62 percent, the sub-sector of smallholders estates fell by 1.06 percent, the livestock sub-sector decreased by 0.29 percent, capture fisheries rose by 1.35 percent, and the aquaculture subsector fell by 0.15 percent. NTP Lampung Province combined by 0.27 percent.

Of the 33 provinces observed in March 2018, the highest increase in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi Province with an increase of 1.81 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau Islands Province which decreased by 1.50 percent.

March 2018 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 0.18 percent due to a rise in the foodstuff price index by 0.21 percent, food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.10 percent, 0.17 percent, health group by 0.30 percent, education, recreation and sports by 0.06 percent, and transportation and communication group by 0.48 percent. Meanwhile, housing category decreased by 0.03 percent.
