Abstract

• Lampung Province's economy in the first quarter of 2018 measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reaches Rp 80.80 trillion and GRDP at constant 2010 prices reaches Rp56.46 trillion.

• The economy of Lampung Province in the first quarter of 2018 grew 5.16 percent to rise from the first quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) of 5.13 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business by 24.67 percent; while construction also grew in the range of 11.07 percent. In terms of the highest growth expenditure was achieved by the Non-Profit Personnel Consumption Expenditure Composition by 19.28 percent.

• Lampung Province's economy grew 6.47 percent in Q1 / 2018 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by agricultural, forestry and fishery business fields by 34.50 percent. On the expenditure side is due to positive growth in Household Consumption Expenditure and Consumption Expenditure of NonProfit Institutions.

• Spatially, the economic growth of the Sumatra Island region in the first quarter of 2018 grew by 4.37 percent with the highest growth in South Sumatra Province which grew by 5.89 percent.
