October 2018, Bandar Lampung City experienced inflation of 0.02 percent because of the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 134.36 to September 2018 becomes 134.39 in October 2018. Two groups expenditure that experienced inflation in the city of Bandar Lampung, namely the group clothing increased by 0.08 percent and the transport, communication & financial services rose by 0.65 percent. Instead, five other groups experiencing deflation or a decrease in index, namely the foodstuffs group fell by 0.18 percent; processed foods, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco by 0.01 percent; housing, water, electricity & fuel 0.13 percent; 0.02 percent health and education, recreation & sports groups dropped by 0.01 percent
Expenditures group contributions in October inflation formation 2018 is from the transport, communication, and financial services groups as much as 0.10 percent. On the contrary, three expenditure groups contribute in formation of deflation, each food group is 0.04 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group of 0.03 percent; and the group of processed foods, beverages, nuts and tobacco in the amount of 0.01 percent. While the other three groups did not contribute in formation of inflation and deflation.
Some dominant commodities contribute to formation inflation includes: Red chili, rice, gasoline, motorbikes, house contracts, pans, pears, dispensers, carrots and bloated / bloated.
Bandar Lampung City inflation ranked 64th out of 82 cities observed price development. Of 82 cities, 66 cities experienced inflation and 16 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Palu at 2.27 percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in Cilegon by 0.01 percent. Deflation the highest occurred in Bengkulu at 0.74 percent, while the lowest deflation occurred in Tangerang by 0.01 percent.
