November 2019, Lampung Combined CPI experienced an increase in the index from 139.66 in October 2019 to 139.81 in November 2019, thereby inflation of 0.11 percent.
Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point) November 2019 experienced inflation of 2.97 percent, while inflation year-on-year (yoy) November 2019 against November 2018 was 3.28 percent.
Of the seven expenditure groups, five expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group experienced inflation of 0.23 percent; processed foods, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco group 0.17 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.08 percent; health group 0.05 percent; and clothing group 0.03 percent.
In contrast, the education, recreation and sports group experienced deflation of 0.09 percent. Meanwhile, the transportation, communication and financial services group did not experience changes in the index.
Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in November 2019, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation was 0.06 percent and Metro inflation was 0.36 percent.
City of Bandar Lampung inflation ranks 53rd and Metro City ranks 17th out of 82 cities whose price is observed. From
82 cities CPI, 57 cities experienced inflation and 25 cities experienced deflation.
The highest inflation occurred in Manado at 3.30 percent, and the lowest inflation
occurred in Malang by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan by 1.06 percent, and the lowest deflation occurred in Batam and Denpasar each by 0.01 percent.
The foodstuffs group contributed the highest to inflation, amounting to 0.07 percent. The sub-groups that contributed to inflation
the highest in November 2019 is the vegetables subgroup,
which is 0.06 percent.
