Portrait of the Rise of Online Trade through E-Commerce Survey

The buying and selling of goods and services can now be done through the hands of an electronic network (Electronic Commerce). The ease and rapid development of E-Commerce transactions has high potential in the economy. BPS Metro Municipality organized an E-Commerce survey by registering all businesses/enterprises (listing) in 20 selected census blocks and conducting interviews with 183 businesses that became the selected sample. The enumerators and supervisors of the E-Commerce survey of BPS Metro Municipality have received training organized directly by BPS Lampung Province. The schedule for the implementation of listing in 20 census blocks was carried out from October 5 to. October 19 and the implementation of field data collection with a total of 183 selected respondents was carried out on October 20 to November 30, 2024. The results of this data collection are expected to be a benchmark to see the profile of E-Commerce from the perspective of business actors, especially in Metro City.
