Based on the results of the 2023 Agricultural Census, Karangrejo Village is the area with the largest cattle population in Metro Municipality, with 711 heads kept by agricultural households as of May 1 2023.

Apart from Karangrejo, here are the 5 sub-districts with the largest cattle populations in Metro Municipality:

Rejomulyo – 558 heads

Banjarasari – 350 head

Sumbersari – 314 heads

Purwoasri – 282 head

This data provides an overview of the distribution of cattle in Metro Municipality, which can be used in livestock sector planning and agricultural policy.
