The momentum of the month of Ramadan and the approach of Idul Fitri 1446 H is one of the driving factors for inflation in Metro Municipality amounting to 1.96% (month-to-month) in March 2025.

One of the main causes of inflation this time is the no longer implementation of the 50% discount on electricity rates, which previously had eased the burden on society. The increase in electricity rates is the highest contributor to inflation, followed by the increase in prices of food ingredients, such as coconuts which are widely used to make typical Eid dishes.

Shallots

Coconut

Garlic

Purebred Chicken Eggs
