September 2015, the city of Bandar Lampung back inflation ie 0.09 percent. Six groups of expenditure contributed inflation in Bandar Lampung, namely education, recreation and sport 0.28 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.13 percent; health group by 0.09 percent; group transport, communications, and financial services by 0.04 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.03 percent; and the clothing group by 0.02 percent. Whereas the group that contributed the curb inflation that foodstuff by 0.50 percent.
Some dominant commodity inflation contributed contract including home, school tuition fees, tuition college / university, automobile, general practitioners, orange, junior high school fees, mackerel fresh, red onions, and rice.
Based on the calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), inflation of Bandar Lampung occurs because of the increase in the index in the education, recreation, and sport rose 3.94 percent; health group rose 2.00 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose by 0.51 percent; clothing rose 0.42 percent; transport, communications, and financial services rose by 0.29 percent; and processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose 0.20 percent. While the group index declines or deflation, namely foodstuffs fell by 2.16 percent.
Inflation Bandar Lampung was ranked 28th out of 82 cities which observed price changes. Of the 82 cities, 38 cities experienced inflation and only 44 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Manado, at 1.49 percent, while the lowest inflation of 0.01 percent experienced Yogyakarta. Tanjung Pandan experienced the highest deflation of 1.95 percent, while the lowest was in Padangsidimpuan deflation of 0.01 percent.
Bandar Lampung, in September 2015 based on the calculation of the rate of inflation (point to point) is equal to 3.32 percent and inflation year on year (yoy) amounted to 7.24 percent.
