November 2015, the city of Bandar Lampung back inflation is 0.11 percent. Four groups of expenditure contributed inflation in Bandar Lampung, namely foodstuffs at 0.05 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.04 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.03 percent; and the health group by 0.02 percent. Whereas the group that contributed the curb inflation that is the clothing group by 0.02 percent and in the transport, communications, and financial services by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile the education, recreation, and sport contribute little once inflation November 2015.
Some commodities are predominantly contributed inflation including eggs, chicken meat, toothpaste, cayenne, sugar, mosquito repellent fuel, cigarette filters, tuna fresh, wood paint / paint iron, jengkol, fresh squid, and leaves katuk.
Based on the calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), inflation of Bandar Lampung occurs because of the increase in the index in the health group up 0.54 percent; foodstuff rose by 0.27 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose 0.17 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose by 0.13 percent; and education, recreation, and sport was up 0.02 percent. While the group index declines or deflation, namely clothing fell 0.39 percent and in the transport, communications, and financial services fell by 0.08 percent.
Inflation Bandar Lampung City ranks 58th out of 82 cities which observed price changes. Of the 82 cities, 69 cities experienced inflation and only 13 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Merauke amounted to 2.35 percent, while the lowest inflation experienced Ternate 0.02 percent. The base Pinang experienced the highest deflation of 1.02 percent, while the lowest was in Manado deflation of 0.01 percent.
Bandar Lampung, in October 2015 based on the calculation of the rate of inflation (point to point) is equal to 3.44 percent and inflation year on year (yoy) amounted to 6.26 percent.
