September 2016, the city of Bandar Lampung inflation is 0.30 percent. Of the seven expenditure groups, five groups contributed inflation in Bandar Lampung namely the food, beverage, cigarette, and tobacco contributed inflation of 0.06 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.01 percent; clothing group by 0.02 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.24 percent; and group transport, communications and financial services by 0.05 percent. While foodstuffs contributes deflation of 0.08 percent. Health groups do not contribute to inflation.
Some commodities are predominantly contributed inflation among colleges / universities, red peppers, junior high schools, cars, ice, high school, porridge, cooking oil, Elementary School, wine, napkins, chicken, cellular phones, cigarettes , and cucumber.
Based on the calculation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), the inflation of Bandar Lampung occurs because of an increase in the index for processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose by 0.35 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 0.06 percent; clothing group increased by 0.40 percent; education, recreation and sports increased by 3.37 percent; and group transport, communications, and financial services rose by 0.32 percent. While foodstuffs fell 0.32 percent; and health group fell by 0.06 percent.
Inflation in Bandar Lampung is ranked 23 of the 82 cities observed price changes. Of the 82 cities, 58 cities experienced inflation, while 24 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Sibolga of 1.85 percent, while the lowest inflation was recorded at 0.02 percent Banyuwangi.
Bandar Lampung, in September 2016 based on the calculation of the rate of inflation (point to point) is 1.02 percent and inflation year on year (yoy) amounted to 2.41 percent.
