• July 2018, several commodities experienced a decline in prices, among others on commodities of the food crops, plantations, capture fisheries, and aquaculture fisheries sub-sectors such as cassava / cassava, coffee, cocoa, oil palm, some capture fish, and several types cultivated fish. While the horticulture and banana subsectors experienced price increases, among others, red chilli, cayenne, avocado, and several other vegetables and fruits.
• In detail in the July 2018 NTP increase or decrease, the food crop sub-sector fell 0.16 percent, the horticultural crop sub-sector rose by 0.92 percent, the smallholder plantation sub-sector fell by 2.33 percent, the livestock sub-sector rose by 0.82 percent, the capture fisheries sub-sector fell by 1.12 percent, and the aquaculture sub-sector fell by 0.79 percent. NTP Lampung province combined by 0.45 percent.
• July 2018 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced an inflation of 0.64 percent due to a decrease in the clothing price index by 0.24 percent, while other groups experienced an increase in the price index, namely the foodstuffs group by 1.05 percent, the food group , drinks, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.31 percent, housing groups by 0.17 percent, health groups by 0.11 percent, education, recreation and sports groups by 1.04 percent, and transportation and communication groups by 0, 58 percent.
• Of the 33 provinces that observed price developments in July 2018, the highest NTP increase occurred in East Nusa Tenggara Province with an increase of 1.19 percent, while the largest NTP decline occurred in Riau Province which fell by 1.43 percent.
