Lampung Province NTP October 2018 for each subsector recorded Rice & Crops Subsector (NTP-P) (120.36), Horticulture (NTP-H) (95.41), Community Plantation Plants (NTP-Pr) (94, 65), Animal Husbandry (NTP-Pt) (114.57), Capture Fisheries (116.83), and Aquaculture (95.53). While Lampung Province's NTP was recorded at 106.50.82.
• October 2018, several commodities experienced price increases, including commodities in the food crops, horticulture, plantation, capture fisheries, and aquaculture, such as food crops, red chili, cabbage / cabbage, rubber, coconut, pepper, catch fish, and several types of fish cultivated. While the livestock sub-sector experienced a decline in prices for large livestock commodities, small livestock, domestic chicken, and chicken eggs.
In detail the October 2018 NTP increase or decrease, the food crop subsector rose 1.57 percent, the horticulture sub-sector rose by 0.09 percent, the smallholder plantation subsector rose by 1.08 percent, the livestock subsector fell by 0.87 percent, the capture fisheries sub-sector increased by 0.35 percent, and the aquaculture subsector rose by 0.25 percent. The Lampung Province NTP combined rose by 0.64 percent.
Of the 33 provinces that observed price developments in October 2018, there were 19 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 14 other provinces experienced a decline. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung Province with an increase of 1.56 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau Province which fell by 1.46 percent.
October 2018 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 0.09 percent due to a decrease in the index price of the foodstuffs group by 0.47 percent. While the other groups experienced an increase in the price index, namely the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.53 percent, the housing group by 0.42 percent, and the clothing group by 0.22 percent, the health group by 1.10 percent, the education, recreation and sports group by 0.37 percent, and the transportation and communication group by 0.41 percent.
