• September 2018, Bandar Lampung City experienced a deflation of 0.20 percent
due to a decrease in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 134.63
August 2018 to 134.36 in September 2018. Five groups
expenditures experiencing inflation in Bandar Lampung City, namely groups
processed foods, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco which rose by 1.04 percent,
housing group 0.04 percent, clothing 0.24 percent and health services
1.49 percent. In contrast, the other two groups experienced deflation or decline
index, namely foodstuffs group of 2.20 percent; and group
transport, communication and financial services 0.02 percent.
• Contribution of expenditure groups in the formation of month deflation
September 2018 is from the foodstuff group of 0.53 percent;
On the contrary, there are five groups that contribute to the formation
inflation, namely processed foods, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco with
share of 0.18 percent; housing group by 0.01 percent;
clothing group by 0.01 percent; health services group 0.07 percent;
education, recreation and sports groups by 0.07 percent. Group
transport, communication and financial services do not contribute
formation of deflation of 0.01 percent.

• Inflation The city of Bandar Lampung is ranked 39th out of 82 cities
observed price development. Of 82 cities, 16 cities experienced inflation and
66 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Bengkulu in the amount of 0.59
percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in Bungo by 0.01 percent.
The highest deflation occurred in pare-pare by 1.59 percent, while deflation
the lowest occurred in samarinda, ternate, tegal and singkawang of 0.01
percent.
• Bandar Lampung City, in September 2018 based on inflation calculations
calendar year (point to point) of 2.32 percent, and year on year inflation
(yoy) is 3.13 percent.
