• NTP Lampung Province September 2018 for each
the subsector is recorded in the Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) (118.50),
Horticulture (NTP-H) (95.33), People's Plantation Plant (NTP-Pr)
(93.64), Livestock (NTP-Pt) (115.57), Capture Fisheries (116.42), and
Aquaculture (95.29). Whereas Lampung Province NTP was recorded
amounting to 105.82.
• September 2018, some commodities have increased
prices, among others, on the food crops sub-sector commodity,
plantations, and aquaculture, such as food crops, rubber,
palm oil, pepper, and several types of aquaculture fish. While
the horticulture, livestock and capture fisheries sub-sectors experience
price reductions include red chili commodities, and some
types of vegetables and fruits, large livestock, small livestock, poultry, and some
type of capture fisheries.
• In detail the September 2018 NTP increase or decrease,
the food crop sub-sector rose 1.71 percent, the sub-sector
horticultural crops fell by 0.73 percent, the crop sub-sector
Smallholder plantations rose by 0.99 percent, livestock subsector
down by 1.47 percent, the capture fisheries subsector fell by
0.08 percent, and the aquaculture sub-sector increases by 0.21 percent. Lampung Province NTP
combined increased by 0.40 percent.
• Out of 33 provinces observed price developments in September 2018, there are 23 provinces
experienced an increase in NTP and 10 other provinces experienced a decline. The highest NTP increase occurred at
Jambi Province with an increase of 1.68 percent, while the largest NTP decline occurred in
Bangka Belitung Province which fell by 1.18 percent.
• September 2018 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced a deflation of 0.84 percent
caused by a decrease in the food price index of the foodstuffs group by 2.26
percent, clothing group by 0.27 percent, and transportation and communication group by 0.05
percent. While the other groups experienced an increase in the price index, namely the processed food group,
beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.41 percent, housing groups by 0.29 percent, groups
health by 0.07 percent, and the education, recreation and sports group by 0.11 percent.
