November 2023, Metro Municipality experiences inflation Year on Year (yoy) was 3.73 percent

In November 2023 in Metro Municipality there will be year on year (yoy) inflation of 3.73 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 131.17. The highest yoy inflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan City at 5.89 percent with a CPI of 120.62 and the lowest occurred in Jayapura City at 1.82 percent with a CPI of 112.99.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 12.03 percent; education group at 1.98 percent; transportation group by 1.35 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.25 percent; health group at 1.18 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.14 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.14 percent; personal care and other services group at 0.44 percent; and equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.17 percent; And. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel groups by 1.66 percent; information, communication and financial services group amounted to 0.87 percent.
