BPS Metro Holds Sectoral Statistics Development and Launches Kelurahan Cantik 2025

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Metro Municipality held a Sectoral Statistics Development and Launching of Kelurahan Cantik 2025 on 19–21 May 2025 at the Bappeda Hall Metro Municipality. This event was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Metro, Dr. M. Rafieq Adi Pradana.

This activity is a form of strategic collaboration between Statistics of Metro Municipality, Bappeda, and the Communication and Informatics Office Metro Municipality. The main objective is to improve the quality of sectoral data owned by Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and encourage sub-districts to be active in data management through the Kelurahan Cinta Statistik Program (Kelurahan Cantik).

In his remarks, the Deputy Mayor of Metro expressed his appreciation for the role of BPS in supporting data-based development. "Strengthening sectoral statistics is very important so that policies taken by local governments are right on target. We fully support the implementation of the Kelurahan Cantik program as a form of data-smart Metro," he said.

This activity was also combined with the awarding of awards to OPDs that excel in sectoral data management and the announcement of the best Kelurahan Cantik in 2024. This award is expected to motivate other agencies and sub-districts to continue to improve the quality of their data management.

With a spirit of collaboration and shared commitment, Statistics of Metro Municipality is optimistic that this program will support the realization of Metro Municipality which is data-smart and right on target in development.
