Abstract

December 2015, Lampung Composite CPI index increased from 123.45 in November 2015 to 124.84 in December 2015, thus an inflation of 1.12 percent.

Based on the calculation of the rate of inflation (point to point) and inflation year on year (yoy) in December 2015 amounted to 4.34 percent.

Of the seven groups of expenditure, six experienced inflation is foodstuffs rose 3.61 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose 1.01 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel rose 0.28 percent; clothing rose 0.11 percent; health group rose 0.09 percent; and education, recreation and sport rose 0.04 percent. While the group is a group that experienced deflation transport, communications, and financial services dropped 0.04 percent.

Monitoring of two cities in December 2015 in Lampung, Bandar Lampung experienced inflation of 1.17 percent, while the Metro experienced inflation of 0.87 percent.

Inflation Bandar Lampung was ranked 30th and Metro City ranked 54th, from 82 cities observed price changes. Of the 82 cities, all experienced inflation. The highest inflation was in Merauke by 2.87 percent, while the lowest was in Cirebon inflation of 0.27 percent.

Foodstuffs contributes inflation of 0.88 percent. The subgroup which became the largest contributor to inflation is a subgroup of spices 0.67 percent.
