Abstract

The room occupancy rate (TPK) rated hotels in Bandar Lampung during August 2016 reached the position of 48.72%, down 3.15 points compared to July 2016 recorded 51.87%. TPK-star hotel in August 2016 than in August 2015 recorded 45.94% an increase of 2.78 points. TPK more accommodation in August 2016 recorded 34.83% fell 2.64 points compared to July 2016 which recorded 37.47%.

During August 2016 the number of guests staying in hotel and other accommodation (combined) reached 91 683 people, consisting of 90 932 750 foreign guests and domestic guests. This condition has increased as much as 1,984 votes (2.21%) compared to July 2016 recorded 89 698 people. The number of guests by types of hotels in star hotels during August 2016 as many as 9708 people, consisting of 356 foreign guests and 9352 domestic guests. That number declined by 1,705 votes (14.94%) compared to July 2016 recorded 11 413 people. While the number of guests during the month of August 2016 staying in other accommodations as much as 81 974 people, consisting of 81 580 394 foreign guests and domestic guests or an increase of 3,689 people or approximately 4.71% compared to July 2016 recorded 78 285 people.

The average length of a stay in August 2016 on the conditions listed star hotel up 0.17 days 1.71 days compared to July 2016, with the details of foreign guests and domestic guests of 4.25 days to 1.61 days. While the average length of stay in hotels / other accommodation during August 2016 recorded decline of 1.25 days 0.02 days compared to the previous month, with details of foreign guests of 4.89 days and 1.23 days living in the country.
